Smoking Hemp Flowers

Smoking is one of the fastest ways to enjoy the Cannabinoids (CBD), Terpenes (the aromatic particles), and the other phytochemicals, found in our full-spectrum hemp flowers.

Creating Edibles

While smoking is a quick way to enjoy hemp flowers you can also add the hemp flowers to edibles. There are two ways to whip up some edible treats. Toast the hemp flowers, then grind them into bits and add them to your recipes. The other way is to add our odorless and tasteless Hemp Flower or Full Spectrum Hemp Oil / Tincture, to your consumable creations.

Many newbies to cooking with cannabinoids make the mistake of thinking all you do is add ground up bits of hemp flower to the recipe and the job is done. The truth is the cannabinoids naturally present in the hemp plant exist in an acidic state that bodies have difficulty absorbing.  Heating hemp buds (a process called decarboxylation) converts the acidic CBD into CBD that can be consumed.

The process is really easy. Before you make your CBD edibles, pre-heat your oven to 240° F. Put a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet and spread out your hemp buds. When your oven is pre-heated, put your flowers in the middle rack and toast them for about an hour. The finished hemp buds should be slightly brown, but not burnt. Grind them up and you are ready to add them to oils, teas, cooking butter, baked goods and more.  You can also use the dried herb in salads, meatloaf, vegetarian dishes and other goodies.

If you want to create recipes without any hemp flower taste, you can add our odorless CBD Oils or Tincture. It’s a great solution for baked goods, beverages and more.
